Michael Scott is the central character in the US version of "The Office" played by actor Steve Carell. He is the regional manager of Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch, where most of the show is set.
Michael is known for his quirky personality, awkward behavior, and often inappropriate comments. He constantly seeks the approval of his employees and can be seen as somewhat of a father figure to them. Although he is often self-absorbed and sometimes insensitive, he is also capable of moments of genuine kindness and empathy towards his colleagues.
