"Office Space" is a 1999 American comedy film written and directed by Mike Judge. The movie satirizes the mundane and soul-sucking nature of office work, as well as the general absurdity of corporate culture in the 1990s.
The story follows a group of employees who work at a software company called Initech. The protagonist, Peter Gibbons (played by Ron Livingston), is a disillusioned software programmer who is tired of his monotonous job and his overbearing boss, Bill Lumbergh (played by Gary Cole).
