Breaking Bad is an American television series created by Vince Gilligan that premiered on AMC in 2008 and ran for five seasons until 2013. The series follows the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with lung cancer and turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine to provide for his family after his death.
As the series progresses, Walter becomes more and more deeply involved in the criminal underworld, along with his former student and partner in crime, Jesse Pinkman.
