The Teletubbies is a British children's television show that premiered in 1997 and quickly became a global phenomenon. The show was created by Anne Wood and Andrew Davenport and produced by Ragdoll Productions.
The Teletubbies are four colorful, alien-like creatures with televisions on their tummies: Tinky Winky (purple), Dipsy (green), Laa-Laa (yellow), and Po (red). They live in a grassy, futuristic landscape called Teletubbyland and spend their days playing, dancing, and learning from their robotic friend Noo-Noo and a baby sun that appears in the sky.
